Accenture Reveals Plans to Buy Experity
Tech-focused professional services company Accenture recently announced plans to acquire Brazilian CX and commerce solutions company, Experity.
Like many global economies over the last two years, the pandemic has shifted the majority of Brazil’s business activity to the digital landscape. It is estimated that the country’s e-commerce spending reached nearly $10 billion in the first half of 2021, a historically high level for the country. It has become clear that online marketplaces are becoming exponentially more populated across the globe, which has put additional pressure on businesses to maintain exceptional customer experience.
Accenture sought to acquire Experity after recognizing the growing demands for customer experience technology, as well as to expand on Accenture's own wide ranging portfolio of business solutions.
“Experity will solidify and scale our market capabilities in driving experience-led transformation.” commented Cristiano Dencker, Accenture Interactive Lead for Latin America “The company will bring strong leadership and expertise with key ecosystem partners, which helps us continue to deliver exemplary services in commerce, marketing, content and data for clients in Latin America.”
This acquisition will bring Experity’s 454 employees to Accenture Interactive, located in Brazil. With a larger workforce and additional expertise, Accenture will now be well positioned to become a major force in Brazil’s emerging CX market.
“Experity is the go-to partner for clients looking for the agility and technology to build leading customer experiences. Joining forces with Accenture Interactive will give us a wider canvas to deliver the transformation that our customers have come to expect in terms of personalized and intelligent experiences anywhere, anytime,” said Daniel Huallem, one of the founders of Experity.
